Fiddle-i-fee Farm is located in a productive farming area home to several major dairies and other farms. It overlooks the Hudson River with views to the Adirondack and Green Mountains. The conservation easement protects the rural character of the area and guarantees the land will continue to be used for farming.

Guests enjoyed gourmet teas supplied by the Whistling Kettle of Ballston Spa and Troy, followed by walking tours throughout the gardens and workshop of the farm.

Cathy Roberts has spent 45 years cultivating her gardens while Neil has been continuously building and improving their home. He also makes furniture from wood harvested from the property.

Cathy Roberts’s love of plants has only grown since her first garden at age 4. She has poured her heart and soul into her plant-lover’s paradise at Fiddle-i-fee Farm for the past 45 years. Recently featured by the prestigious Garden Conservancy, her mixed flower and shrub collections, selected for a diversity of shapes and textures, surround the Arts and Crafts style home that she and husband Neil designed and built. Productive vegetable gardens, an orchard, and a prairie meadow grace the view from Neil’s woodworking shop.
