protecting the land you love
“Let’s go on a hike,” she said after a hectic day of work, carpool and helping kids with homework. We headed for our local “go-to” trail, where the stress drifted away on a light breeze that also lifted a hawk up into the blue sky. The only sounds were our footsteps and the rustling of trees overhead. We were walking close to home on land protected by a conservation easement and stewarded in perpetuity by Saratoga PLAN.
Many of us live here because of moments like those, which are made possible by supporters who understand that a contribution to open space and working landscapes is a rewarding investment.
On this Earth Day please take a moment from your hectic schedule to invest in protecting the open space, productive farmland, natural areas, and recreational trails you love in Saratoga County.
