chef gulbrandsen anchors feast again


Chef Thomas Gulbrandsen has worked in the culinary field for more than two decades, and he will be returning to Feast of the Fields for the sixth time in September 2018. Many in the Saratoga Springs area know him well as the Executive Chef at the Courtyard Marriott Saratoga Springs & Excelsior Springs Banquet Hall and Event Venue.

In 2005, he scored a six-month internship in London at the famous Searcy’s Tower and graduated on the Presidents List from the Schenectady County Community College Associates in Culinary Arts program. He has won several cooking competitions, including the Schenectady County Community College Hot Foods Competition in 2004 and the Culinary Cornucopia Award in 2008, 2009, and 2013. Using his extensive experience and skills he developed along the way, he now holds the position of Executive Chef at the Courtyard Saratoga.

At this year’s Feast, Thomas will be presenting an amazing assorted crudités and cheese display that will be sure to whet your appetite!
