Please join Saratoga PLAN in celebrating all the hard work put in by our partners, volunteers and staff. Renovations to the 25-year-old trail were partially paid for with a $30,000 grant from the New York State Conservation Partnership Program, $10,000 from the City of Saratoga Springs, donations from the 3M Company and Stewart’s Shops, discounted materials from D.A. Collins Companies and Curtis Lumber Co., and lots of labor and engineering from Munter Enterprises.

What: Bog Meadow Trail Reopening Event and Press Conference to reopen the newly renovated Bog Meadow Brook Nature Trail

Why: On the 25th anniversary of the trail, Saratoga PLAN completed significant improvements and upgrades to the trail to improve public access.
Where: Meadowbrook Road parking area, which is now the new trailhead.

To the Meadowbrook Road Entrance:
From downtown Saratoga Springs: Take Lake Avenue/Route 29 east from the city. Go through the traffic light at Weibel Avenue. The Route 29 trail entrance will be about 300 yards past the light on your right. Go past this entrance and proceed east on Route 29. At the next traffic light, make a right onto Staffords Bridge Road then take your first right onto Meadowbrook Road. The parking lot will be 1/4 mile down the road on your right. From I-87: Take exit 14 and head east on Union Avenue (toward Saratoga Lake). The first intersection will be Gilbert Road on your left, immediately followed by an intersection with Meadowbrook Road on the left. Take Meadowbrook Road for about 2.2 miles to the new Bog Meadow trailhead on your left. The new trailhead begins in the parking area. This entrance will be open in early November 2018.
